Rally for Public Schools

On Wednesday, March 18, public school parents, students, teachers, education support professionals, school administrators, business officials and community members from across Ohio will gather at the Statehouse in support of public schools and Ohio’s students.

Public schools are the heart of local communities and are open to all—serving 90% of Ohio’s students. However, vital funding is diverted away from public school students to provide private school tuition vouchers through the EdChoice program. The legislature faces a looming April 1st deadline dealing with vouchers that would lead to massive deductions in funding for public schools. We are demanding action to address this crisis before that deadline.
