Membership Levels:

Full Membership

Full Members are social workers holding a provisional, professional, or permanent Pupil Personnel/ School Social Worker license issued by the Ohio Department of Education. Full membership also includes social workers in settings other than school social work or professionals with an interest in school based services. This can include but is not limited to: colleagues, such as teachers, administrators, counselors, and consultants, in the field of education, and field instructors of Masters level social work students in a school setting, or faculty members in a Masters level school social work program approved by ODE.

Student Membership

Student Members are students currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters level social work program or related field that are interested in pursuing school social work as a career and/or seeking ODE licensure.

Retiree Membership

Retiree members are social workers who have held a professional or permanent Pupil Services/School Social Worker License issued by the Ohio Department of Education or social workers who did not have the ODE license but provided school social work services in a school setting in their career.
